Kerry catches Wildfire when the horse bolts after a press van appears, speakers blazing. Kris uses the chance to put Kerry to the test and asks him to fend of the journalist. Shortly after that Junior appears. He has an issue of "Modern Jockey" magazine that has an article about Kris. Kris is unsure about that. Kerry comes up to her and Junior. He tells Kris about Atomic Hot Sauce wanting to make a new commercial with a girl on a horse and that they want her as well as Wildfire. Kris is reluctant to the idea but when Kerry mentions a big pay check she reconsiders.

Kris tells Jean about the commercial offer. Jean is not sure about having Wildfire in a commercial but encourages Kris to try out for it.

Matt helps his father pick a place for a club Pete wants to open. They end up at the place that Junior used for his parties. They just arrive when Junior is evicted after the landlord sees the mess the last party caused.

Dani has started her own business. She picked a horse from her father's stables and exchanged him for another. Isabelle comes to her, looking for Matt. Dani tells her where to find him. Isabelle visits Matt in his new apartment. He is not exactly happy to see her and tells her he can't deal with her just now.

Things for Raintree are going well after the Sandpiper. But then Jean gets bad news. At a neighbouring farm a case of hoof and mouth disease. One of her horses has been on that farm the night before, so the horse has to be tested for carrying the disease.

Kris goes to the audition for the commercial and feels totally out of place there. She gets recognised at the girl who stole the horse and lost the Sandpiper.

Kerry waits for Kris after a training to tell her that she got the job at Atomic. Kris is stunned. Kerry tells her they will shoot in two days in L.A.

Raintree is put under quarantine when the horse tests positive for hoof and mouth. That also means, Wildfire cannot leave for LA to do the commercial. Kris refuses to do it with another horse.

Dani's new horse Picaro performs poorly since she got him. Her theory is that he is lonely because he has been party from another horse whom he's grown up with. Dani asks her father for the 12.000 Dollars to buy the other horse.

On Matt's suggestion Junior proposes a partnership to Pete Ritter for the club. They work out a deal. Matt brings his father to the family dinner Charlie has arranged. Charlie isn't happy about this and Jean neither. Just when she asks him to leave, Kris and Kerry show up. They got some news. They will do the commercial on Raintree and get paid a location fee which will cover the losses Jean had due to the quarantine. That lifts everyone's mood. They celebrate. Wendy and Pablo arrive at the restaurant not much later, but they want to be by themselves and don't' join the others.

Dani and her father also come to the restaurant. Dani asks her father for 12000 Dollar. Her new horse Picaro performs poorly since she got him. Her theory is that he is lonely because he has been party from another horse whom he's grown up with. Dani needs the 12000 Dollar to buy the other horse.

The film crew for the commercial arrives at Raintree and set up. Kerry is there too to support Kris and look after her. Making the commercial turns out to be hard work. They film one take over and over. Then they ask her for another take in which she has to kiss her "boyfriend". The actor they brought along for this has no chemistry with Kris. Kris calls for Kerry. Kerry talks to the director to find another guy. When Junior walks up to Kris to bring her some water, the director chooses him to replace the other actor. After feeling a little akward at first, Kris and Junior start kissing passionately, forgetting their audience.
Dani and Matt are getting closer again as well.

Charlie is starting to feel somewhat annoyed with Pete starting to come around all the time.

Kris changes into a dress to go to Junior's place after he insisted she come over for dinner.
Just when she is ready to go, Kerry shows up with the contract. Kris doesn't like the legal-lingo and makes Kerry swear to always be straight with her.

Instead of Kris Junior's mother shows up at his apartment. They start to talk. Isabelle tells Junior how hard it was to leave him behind, but that she just could not win against Ken Davis. Isabelle sees Kris from the window when Kris finally arrives, but doesn't alert Junior to her presence. Kris sees Isabelle, turns around and goes home.
