FULL EPISODE SYNOPSIS (spoiler!)

Lucas is disappointed when Anna doesn't call him after dare night.

Dan has started with his rehab training. He is upset when an orderly reminds him what a great athlete he used to be. Deb is supporting Dan even though Dan had the heart attack while he was signing their divorce papers. This weekend a meteor shower is happening and Dan invites Deb to the beach house to watch it with him to say thanks. She only accepts it reluctantly.

In a record store Peyton meets a rude punk, when she is displaying a poster for her All Ages Night there.

Keith calls Jules. They make a date where Keith is supposed to cook for her. He burns the food, but they have a good time nonetheless.

Coach Whitey Durham is in a bad mood. He needs to have some surgery done, but his wife died in surgery several years ago so he is totally opposed to the idea. Lucas tries to talk to him, but the coach is not only defensive but downright hostile to him. Lucas withdraws for the moment, but he tries again later. Whitey has not changed his attitude but Lucas does not give up that easily.

The physics teacher tells the students about the meteor showers when Lucas gets a message that calls him out of the class. In front of the school Anna is waiting for him. Lucas finds out that she is Felix's sister. They talk things over.

Andy asks Karen to watch the meteor shower with him. She hesitates because she fears going out with the teacher could have some influence on her grade. Andy reassures her that this will not be the case, so she says yes. Andy tells her to bring Lucas, if she can't find a babysitter. She tells him that won't be necessary.

Nathan gets invited to the exclusive High Flyers Baseball Camp in Florida. Haley is happy for him. But then it turns out that this would mean for him to stay in Florida for three months. Nathan thinks it over and then decides not to go.

Brooke is still suffering because her parents are broke. She starts a purely physical relationship with Felix. Her parents are doing a yard sale to make some money. Mouth is buying a picture frame that still has a picture of Brooke in it. Brooke asks Nathan who he is coping, after giving up his family's money. She just can't get used to the idea of having no money. Among the things that are being sold is Brooke's doll house, which means a lot to her.

Anna finds Lucas playing basket ball. She is playing herself and challenges him to a one-on-one. The price is watching the meteor shower together, no matter who wins.

Peyton and Haley listen to several musicians, looking for the opening act. The rude guy from the record store shows up delivering some CDs. He picks up a guitar and starts singing. He is phantastic and Haley is relieved, because Peyton wanted to persuade her to do the opening act.

Andy leads Karen into his backyard which turns out to be more of a park. He tells her of his past. His father died when he was 14 and his mother moved with him to North Carolina and raised him on her own.
Karen is delighted, when she sees the table for two that has been set up by the water front. Andy helps her with the chair, then sits down in front of her.

Felix feels hurt when Brooke is obviously just taking advantage of him.

Coach Durham finds a framed article of his 500th win on his desk, which Lucas left for him.

Lucas wants to know why Anna hasn't told Felix about them. He does not want to sneak around and asks her to speak to her brother about them.

Keith and Jules also watch the meteor shower and that brings them closer together.

Nathan encourages Haley to pursue her music career. They too watch the meteors fall.

Dan and Deb watch the spectacle from the beach house. Dan tries to get closer to Deb again, but she is not going for that. When she tells him that she is still planning to separate from him, he lies to her after getting a call from his doctor that his condition is worse instead of better.

Whitey and Peyton watch the meteor shower on their own.

Brooke sits down on her front steps to watch the stars fall and ignores Felix who has come out as well. Felix watches how Lucas drops Anna of and tells her how little he likes her being with Lucas. But Anna refuses to listen to her brother.

Rick, the guy who gave Peyton the drugs shows up again and tempts her once more to take them.

The next morning Mouth calls at Brooke's house. He has bought the doll house back for her, as it meant so much to her. She is touched.

Dan gets a call from High Flyers. It had been his doing that Nathan had been accepted there but Nathan's decision not to go has foiled Dan's plan.

Karen tells Lucas that she has met someone who is younger than her. Lucas has no problem with that.

Coach Durham has decided to have his operation after all.
